Here at McQuillan Boiler Services, we have further invested in our water treatment offering by bringing in-house over20 years of steam boiler water treatment experience to form our own MBS water treatment division. Working seamlessly alongside our mechanical and installation divisions, our water treatment offering has been specifically designed to support our clients in meeting compliance, enhancing longevity, minimising risk and optimising efficiency.
Chemical Treatment Programs
With unlimited access to all the major UK chemical manufacturers, we have the right treatment program, supplied in the right package for your steam boiler.
Our extensive range of chemicals includes both liquid and solid chemicals, delivered in a variety of packages to suit your needs and consumption rates. From 25kg drums to 1,000kg IBC's and even pump over deliveries, where trained, specialist chemical handling professionals eliminate the risk of your site personnel handling chemicals.
Chemical Dosing Systems
We have no boundaries at MBS as to which suppliers we can and cannot work with to ensure our clients receive the best possible chemical dosing system for their steam boiler plant room.
Whilst we have formed strong, working relations with our preferred suppliers, we are open to working with all, if there's a specific model or manufacturer within your company policy. MBS can supply, install and commission all types of chemical dosing systems, both small and large, from tanks to pumps to injection quills and beyond. All delivered by our in-house service teams.
Pre-Treatment
At MBS we can offer a full range of pre-treatment systems, from simple water softeners to reverse osmosis and ultra-filtration.
We work with key suppliers, specialising in the pre-treatment industry to ensure our clients receive the correct solution, first-time round. We offer a full, turnkey service from the removal of old plant equipment to the supply, installation and commissioning of new.
Once installed, we can service and maintain your pre-treatment plants to ensure your steam system remains free from scale and operating as efficiently as possible.
Site Services
Our team of water treatment consultants will periodically visit your steam plant room to undertake and record their own water analysis. This state-of-the-art report will log all water analysis, clearly showing if the result is within our outside of the required parameters and contain our consultant's specialist appraisal of the water conditions and their recommendations on where improvements can be made to ensure your steam boiler operates smoothly.
Training
As standard, all our water treatment clients receive training on-site at their own steam boiler plant room, to ensure the training is as bespoke as possible. The training includes subjects on pre-treatment, deaeration, chemical dosing, blowdown, analytical testing, interpretation of test results, recording keeping and much more. In additional, we can provide both on and off-site here at MBS in Manchester with a 1 or 2 day advanced water treatment training course.
